Tom Davies Appointed New MD

Mini-Cam is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Davies (above) as the new Managing Director of Mini-Cam. Tom joined the company on 7 January 2020 and will work with Nigel Wilson, Mini-Cam’s current MD, over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition. On 31 March 2020 Tom will succeed Nigel as Managing Director and Nigel will start a part-time consultancy role for the company to provide strategic direction to, and execution of, Mini-Cam’s product and technology plans. Tom will use the coming months to work with the Mini-Cam team to start to learn the business, its market, its customers and employees.

Most recently, Tom was Sales Director for Maidenhead based, Halma owned, Avire, where he drove increased sales effectiveness across the commercial organisation. Previously, Tom was at Instron, a division of Illinois ToolWorks (ITW), in a variety of sales, marketing, product management and general management roles. He holds a Bachelors degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Wales and will be relocating to Cheshire with his family.
